Low wages. Inflation. Pay freezes. Unemployment rates.
We already know that the days of working hard and staying with one company until you get the gold watch are LONG gone. We also know that the average American will probably hold and average of 7-10 different jobs in a lifetime.
So, not only do we need to stay nimble and constantly be upgrading our skillsets because our careers are always in motion, but we also may need to take it a step further and invest in a ‘second-career’ – perhaps something that we have the utmost passion for – and we can make money doing.
